About Alayah
My approach to vocal coaching is built on the philosophy that every voice is unique, valuable, and deserves expert guidance to reach its fullest, healthiest potential. I channel that passion into helping my students find their unique voice and confidence on the stage. What makes my studio unique is the combination of rigorous technical training with a genuinely supportive, empathetic, and encouraging environment. I believe in constructive feedback delivered with kindness. I never forget the supportive community that helped me flourish in high school theater, and I strive to recreate that positive energy for every student.

As a vocal tutor, my approach is built on meeting each student exactly where they are in their musical journey, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and dynamic environment where students can discover and project their unique voices. A Typical Lesson Plan
A standard 60-minute lesson typically flows through these stages:
Section Duration Focus
Warm-up & Alignment 10 min Gentle physical stretches, breath work, and foundational vocal exercises (lip trills, sirens, humming) to prepare the voice and body.
Technical Focus 15 min Targeted exercises addressing a specific goal identified in the previous lesson or the current session (e.g., expanding range, improving tone clarity, working on dynamics).
Repertoire Work 30 min Applying the technique to chosen songs. This is where we work on musicality, expression, diction, and performance polish.
Feedback & Goal Setting 5 min A brief recap of progress, assigning practice goals, and answering any final questions. My studio is a place for all levels and ages to explore the transformative power of music.
