* I was born and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Spanish is my first language. I have been living in Australia for more than 20 years. After a rewarding career as an academic scientist, I continue pursuing my passion for education. Certified by the Institute Cervantes in Sydney, my role is to teach and guide people who are enthusiastic about learning Spanish, tailoring lessons to their individual goals, level, and learning style.
*I offer a FREE TRIAL LESSON so students can experience my teaching approach and materials before starting regular lessons. The aim of the first lesson is to to design a tailored and engage course that suits the learner. After the trial lesson, the student will have 1 hour with me per week. Regular practice is the key to building confidence and a solid foundation in the language so a personal practice of 15 to 30 minutes will boost the learning journey.
* How long do you need to learn a language? Around 3h per week or 15m every day. Learning a language is a step-by-step journey, not something overwhelming. You do not need to pay a regular course. The advantage having a private tutor it is that you can change the day and time that best suits you and pay when you take the lesson. Practice and repetition are the key elements. With a structured approach, it becomes rewarding over time. By experience, even in difficult times, learning another language is a lifelong investment in yourself. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, it opens doors to new cultures, connections, and opportunities. Although it requires commitment and practice, the rewards are truly invaluable.
If your main goal is to learn Spanish to travel, you will need approximately 30 hours of study .

About the lesson

* I have been teaching Spanish and culture for the past seven years to studentes from 11 to 70+ years old. I moved to the Central Coast in NSW several years ago from the city and I am aware that many people in the region do not have the time or the opportunity to commute to the city, so my program offers flexible lessons delivered both face to face and online.
* My teaching approach is based on four elements:
1) METHOD to provide a structure.
2) PRACTICE to build fluency and reinforces skills.
3) PRODUCTION to use the language freely in authentic tasks.
4) PERSEVERANCE through challenges.
These elements foster steady progress and long-term success in acquiring a new language. It’s not about speaking perfectly, but rather about the ability to feel confident, build connections with others, and actively participate in conversations, even if you make mistakes.
*FORMAT OPTIONS: The lessons can be delivered in person or online.
*The following programs are offered:
(1) Beginners Course.
(2) Intermediate Course.
(3) Advanced Course.
(4) Conversational Spanish for levels B2 and C1.
(5) Students Course (Yr1-6): Supporting the journey of learning a second language with dynamic activities.
(5) Students Course (Yr7-10) : Supporting school tasks and assessments
(6) HSC Yr 11-12 : Intensive training based on the HSC’s past exams
Speaking: One on One practical practice for oral exam.
*I will provide the material, audio using different Spanish accents, and exercises since the lessons are customized according to the student's needs. Every topic combines a cultural aspect through descriptions of a country/community and its traditions.
*All lessons contain:
-Real and entertaining audios.
-Useful vocabulary.
-Pronunciation practice.
-Listening, fluency and grammar.
-Flexible scheduling to suit your routine.
-Calm and encouraging learning environment.
-Personalised one-to-one conversation practice.
-Online or in-home learning convenience.
