About Moni
With 8 years of teaching piano, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from young beginners to college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, creativity, and personalised guidance, ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated to achieve their musical goals.
I have helped students perform in recitals, take part in competitions, and successfully complete graded exams. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, adapted to the student’s skill level and interests. My goal is to make piano learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience that builds confidence, discipline, and a love for music.

My teaching methodology emphasises compassion, clear communication, and consistent support. I believe that students learn best when they feel understood, encouraged, and motivated. In piano lessons, I focus on developing technique, musical expression, rhythm, and creativity, combining structured exercises with engaging pieces to make learning both fun and effective.
I maintain open communication, encouraging students to ask questions, share ideas, and reflect on their progress. Supportiveness is central to my approach—I celebrate achievements, guide students through challenges, and help them build confidence.
I also apply this methodology to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, composition, and ear training. My goal is to create a positive and inspiring environment where students develop skill, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.
