About Clara
For the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching piano to nearly 300 students across different age groups. I work with high school learners, college students, and adults who are eager to improve their musical skills in a structured environment.
My teaching philosophy emphasises discipline, understanding, and encouragement. I ensure that students master posture, finger control, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading before moving to advanced pieces. I also guide them in understanding musical expression and phrasing.
I create goal-based lesson plans and encourage regular practice routines. I provide constructive feedback and motivate students to push beyond their comfort zones. Many of my students have performed successfully in recitals and academic events, showing both technical skill and confidence.
Teaching piano is more than instruction for me—it is about mentoring students and helping them grow both musically and personally.

My piano teaching style is student-focused and built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and consistent encouragement. I create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning from mistakes. I break difficult pieces into small sections and explain techniques clearly.
Communication ensures that students fully understand rhythm, dynamics, articulation, and musical structure. Creativity is developed through interpretation exercises, improvisation, and exploring various genres of music.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lesson speed and methods according to each student’s needs. I also include sight reading, chord studies, and ear training to support complete musical growth. My mission is to guide students towards becoming confident, independent pianists.
