About Paula

I did 10 academic years in a music conservatory in Spain from the age of 7-17, and now I play on my own as playing the piano is my passion. I didn't have the opportunity to finish my last year at the music conservatory as I had to move to the UK.
I have grade 8 exam and have completed Music Theory grade 5 with a Distinction.
I have given private lessons to children and adults and looking forward to having more students. Don't hesitate to contact me, I'm sure you won't regret it :)

About the lesson

Normally the classes would last 1 hour. In my class, you will learn how to read music. The class will vary depending on the level of the student. Either doing grades or studying max 3 pieces, we can study others once these are completed. At the same time, we will revise the rhythm and do some exercises for the hand muscles. I preferably teach classical music, but I wouldn't mind changing. I am always open to any suggestions. We can discuss then how you think the class structure would be better.
I teach at my home, your home (additional travel costs might apply), and online.

Perfect! Paula has been an exceptional teacher for my 12 year old daughter since we had to find a new teacher as her old one moved away. Finding somebody suitable that my daughter could connect with was a challenge but thankfully we found Paula! She is very knowledgable, extremely patient and makes the lessons fun, taking the time to explain everything, find a suitable pace and make my daughter feel comfortable.
