About Maliyah

I’ve been playing the piano since I was five years old, and music has been a big part of my life ever since! I also play the guitar, which has allowed me to explore different styles of music and expand my understanding of music as a whole.

Along with my musical background, I’m also a first-grade teacher with experience creating engaging lessons, adapting to different learning styles, and helping students build confidence in their abilities.

I believe learning an instrument should be exciting, not intimidating! My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual pace and goals. Whether you’re learning your very first notes or looking to improve your skills, I strive to create a comfortable environment where you can learn, make mistakes, and grow.

My goal is not just to teach you how to play piano, but to help you develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music!

About the lesson

Learning piano should be fun, exciting, and something you look forward to!

As a first-grade teacher, I understand that everyone learns differently. I bring patience, creativity, and encouragement into every lesson to help students feel comfortable and confident as they develop their musical skills.

My lessons are designed around each student’s individual needs, interests, and learning pace. Whether you’re completely new to piano or looking to strengthen your skills, my goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping you see real progress.

I believe anyone can learn to play piano with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement
