About Dean
My name is Dean and I am from Grays, Essex, England. I am an English teacher. I have 12 years teaching experience in Thailand and Vietnam. Obviously, teaching group classes is different from teaching privately one to one. When teaching group classes, I get the students interacting with each other as much as possible. I also ask the students to interact with me a lot all through games and activities, as they need to have the confidence to speak with foreigners. Private one to one involves taking the student’s needs into account. What are their weak points? Where can they improve? Also, adjusting to the student’s personality is important when teaching as some students can be shy. I aim to give the students praise and the confidence to express themselves in English as much as they can.
