About Ashley
I am a Masters (Applied Lingluistics with TESOL) qualified English Language teacher with over 12 years experience around the world. Other than in the U.K., I have taught a variety of ages and levels in counties such as China, Japan, South Korea, Myanmar and South Korea. I love to travel and am fascinated by different cultures and ways of life.

Whilst I am open to many teaching styles, pedagogical approaches and methodologies, depending on the subject area being taught, I favour the Communicative Method. Through experience, I have found this approach to teaching and learning the most effective way to learn naturally and in a way that is appropriate, useful and enjoyable for students.
I am also qualified and enjoy teaching test prep, including TOEIC, IELTS and Cambridge exams. I have a wide variety of teaching materials and text books that can be used in lessons.
