About Shevya
Beyond academics and teaching, I have actively taken on leadership and communication roles throughout my college journey. During my time at Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, I served as an Event Head and Point of Contact (POC) for various college events, where I was responsible for coordinating with speakers, managing communications, and ensuring smooth event execution. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
I have also worked in public relations and student engagement roles, which strengthened my ability to connect with people, listen attentively, and communicate effectively—skills that I bring into every lesson I teach.
Currently, I am involved in facilitating and mentoring young women through a social impact organization dedicated to empowering women and supporting their personal growth and development. Through this work, I help create a positive and encouraging environment where young women can build confidence, develop skills, and work towards their goals.
These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, leadership, and empathy. As a tutor, I strive to bring the same qualities into my classroom, ensuring that every student feels supported, respected, and motivated to succeed.

I am passionate about teaching English and helping students improve their communication skills with confidence. For the past two years, I have been providing in-person tuition to children, which has helped me develop strong teaching and communication skills. I teach English up to the intermediate level and can assist students with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and school coursework.
I am patient, kind, and friendly, especially with young learners. I believe every student learns best in a supportive and comfortable environment. My lessons are tailored to each student's learning pace and individual needs, making English both enjoyable and easy to understand.
