I begin the first lesson with a basic assessment, to understand the student's level, goals, but also how they approach questions/ reasoning behind answers. I then produce a schedule to target key areas of focus. Lessons generally are tailored to the students needs, beginning with a focussed explanation of content and finishing up with past paper questions to consolidate knowledge.
Lessons are typically an hour in length but I am flexible with my time. I achieved 5 A and A* grades at GCSE, including Maths, English and Science, as well as AAA in my 3 A-levels: Chemistry, Biology and Geography. I am therefore looking to tutor any age in those subjects I studied at A-level.
