About Joseph
I am a recent graduate of Computer engineering, from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with experience in tutoring senior secondary school students and aspiring university candidates in Physics and Mathematics. I have been actively involved in this for the past four years, and tutored over a hundred students. I am glad to be a part of the success story of many young ones out there, who have taken a step further in their pursuit of academic excellence, as quite a number of them have made considerable progress, in their studies, with testimonies of admission into higher institutions abounding.

The responsibility for the success of a student majorly lies on him/her, as much as the role of other parties involved, including the tutor. This, I strongly believe, and do therefore attempt early enough in my contact with any student to prepare the mindset towards achieving success. Having achieved this, I then set out to make a workable and achievable plan with the student. Then, off we go! I like my students to prepare ahead of any class, no matter their prior experience with the concept to be considered, as this in a way prepares the student for what is really ahead. In teaching a topic, I attempt to aid the student(s) in their understanding, via the use of various analogies to ensure the coast is clear to proceed from simple to complex. Thereafter, we solve problems together, and the student is put to test. To allow for better grasp of and due diligence with what has been taught, I make it a point of duty to give assignments, which are reviewed in subsequent contact with the students. These, are all intended towards making the most of resources available, in helping the student achieve his/her goal in the subject.
