I believe in engaging the student's different sense organs as much (sight, hearing, speech) as possible because this improves retention. I try to relate every topic to occurences the student is familiar with and also make the student see the importance and application of what I am teaching as this tend to increase the student's interest in the topic. Finally, I believe in quality rather than quantity hence, I move at the student's pace.
