I am a friendly, approachable and patient teacher, which is perfect for those who think they may be finding French a bit difficult. It may be the pronunciation of words/your accent, confidence in speaking or learning new vocabulary - I'm here to help you at your own pace. My lessons are based entirely around you! I take into account your own experience with French, your year group (if you are at school) and what you want to achieve. A typical lesson could include:
-conversation and discussion in French
-fun vocabulary games
-exercises for specific topics (great for school/GCSE students!)
-listening comprehension (audio and video clips/dictation)
-homework (optional! :) )
All you have to do is tell me which of the above areas you would like improving and I'll be able to create an effective lesson plan for you. However, if you have no idea where to begin and just want to start learning French from the basics, I have fun and engaging beginner lessons!
Hello! I am a final year French and Politics student at Queen Mary University. I taught languages for 9 months last year in a secondary school teaching 25 classes of 30 students. I helped them to improve their language level, particularly in oral proficiency and new vocabulary. My own experience in French includes GCSE, A Level and 2 years of University education, as well as a year spent in Québec, the French-speaking region of Canada.
If the travel time over 45 minutes, I will ask for a one-off extra charge of £5 to cover the time spent travelling there and back.

Education Internationale, Quebec
Teaching classes of maximum 30 students, ranging from ages 12-17. Planning and delivering lessons that aimed to improve the speaking and listening skills of the Quebec students. Learning how to cater to classes of ranging ability, and sometimes managing classroom discipline.
In Quebec working for Education Internationale, I learned how to teach effectively and how to create fun and engaging lessons. I also learned how to time-manage effectively and to work well with other teachers, all in a different language.
Interests & Hobbies:
I am very interested in architecture, new and old, and I also love music and have taught myself how to play piano, bass and guitar. Composing is one of my strongest hobbies. I enjoy learning new languages and love to teach French.
