About Ella

Hi! My name is Ella, and I am a dedicated French student with a passion for language learning and teaching. I have studied French for several years, both independently and through formal coursework, which has given me a strong understanding of the language and the learning process.

In addition to my classroom experience, I have participated in a French language immersion program in Toulouse, France, where I used French in everyday situations and deepened my understanding of French culture. This experience strengthened both my language skills and my ability to communicate naturally and confidently in French.

Because I have learned French as a non-native speaker, I understand the challenges students often face when learning grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each student progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students build confidence in French through a supportive, interactive, and personalized approach. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether they need help with schoolwork, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, or exam preparation.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused practice on a specific topic. Depending on the student’s level, we may work on speaking exercises, reading and analyzing texts, grammar activities, vocabulary-building strategies, listening practice, or writing exercises. I also incorporate real-world examples and French culture to make learning more engaging and relevant.

My teaching style emphasizes active participation rather than memorization. I encourage students to speak French as much as possible, ask questions freely, and develop the confidence to use the language in real situations. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and pace so they can make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.

What sets my lessons apart is the combination of strong grammar instruction and practical language use. Students not only learn the rules of French but also how to apply them in conversation, writing, and everyday communication. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, taking risks, and growing their skills.
