*About me*
Hello, I’m Mathieu.
I’m French and I have a Master degree to teach French as a foreign language.
For some years now, I teach French to foreigners just like you, on Italki & in French School such as Alliance Française, HEC, LSI or Mairie de Paris, in Paris, the city where I currently live.
Before that, during almost a decade, I lived in various countries, like Brazil, Cameroon, Ecuador or Indonesia, where I worked in the communication field. Today, I fully devote myself to French language, meaning that I teach French, of course, but also write it, every day, in something that hopefully, will become a novel.
Holder of an engineering degree in Industrial Design, Management and Communication as well as a Diploma of Aptitude for Teaching French as a Foreign Language, I also worked for ten years as a communication officer in institutional communication and private, in France and abroad. For five years, I have been working as a French teacher with expatriate learners, adults and adolescents, from a wide variety of nationalities.

My approach is simple, organic and mixed. Each session is a class but, it’s a conversation. That is, what I call a « french moment » : a mix of general knowledge, grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic phrases, as well as prononciation, accent, all of this around an original material, such as a video, a music track, an article, that you will have watched, listened to, or red before our session.
