About Allyson
I am a college graduate who studied French in the United States and I’ve spent 2 years in France, where I’m currently living. I am certified to teach english as a second language, I spent 6 months in France as an english Language assistant for middle school and high school levels and am currently a Fille Au Pair for a French family so I have a lot of daily life, real French language experience.

While every student is unique, I like to approach teaching French through specific topics that are relevant to daily life, adding a grammatical concept and then practicing expressing thoughts and ideas to secure what we've learned in their memory. To make the concepts more of a reflex than something the students need to work through.
