I'm a French graduate. I've been doing private lessons since my service year in 2018, recently I tutored a French lady on some basic English lessons and how to communicate, I did that for four months and now she can communicate better than when she came from Guinea(her country of origin ).

I'm a very practical teacher, over the years I've learnt that theory alone doesn't convey learning so I try as much to be practical in my teachings. We see some educational videos, play educational games etc.
So my method is that, I try to know what the student knows about what I'm going to teach by asking questions first,
For example, in French, I ask, if you know some basic greetings like Bonjour, bonsoir etc
once I get your level of knowledge. Then we can re-emphasise on that and then we pick up from there.
