About Pat
My teaching approach is all about making French learning joyful and memorable. I use games, songs, storytelling, and humor to help students remember new words and phrases easily. Learning French with me feels like play, not work. I especially enjoy working with conversational learners and newcomers who want to build confidence quickly. Through fun activities, I create a warm and welcoming space where mistakes are okay and curiosity is encouraged. We practice real-life conversations, sing catchy French songs, and act out stories to bring the language to life. This keeps lessons engaging and helps you remember better. My goal is to help you fall in love with French while feeling comfortable and excited to speak. Together, we’ll make every lesson fun and full of laughter. I’m a French tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Language and Business. I specialize in helping complete beginners feel comfortable and confident with survival French—perfect for quick trips or emergency situations. My teaching style is patient and sprinkled with humor, so learning never feels overwhelming.
I focus on role-playing essential dialogues that you’ll actually use, like checking into a hotel or asking for directions. Flashcards help reinforce key phrases, making them easy to remember on the go. Storytelling is another fun tool I use, sharing common travel mishaps to prepare you for real-life scenarios.
