About Lea

After graduating from high school in France with top honors (20/20 French oral and 17/20 essay), I attended a law and economics preparatory class in Lyon, France, for two years before pursuing my Bachelor's degree in 3rd year at the University of Lyon, France. After my bachelor's degree, I completed a Master's degree in law at the University of Reims, France, with the aim of specializing in wine and spirits law. After these two years, I moved to Berkeley to complete an LLM and take the bar exam. I've been working as an animator in a day-care center for several years now, and I know how to work with all ages and adapt to children's different levels of concentration and development. In addition, I have long been involved in tutoring and helping with homework, notably by helping a student prepare for the baccalauréat throughout her final year of high school. Thanks to my different experiences, I'm able to approach a difficulty from different angles, so that you can be sure of finding the solution yourself, using the method that suits you best. Finally, I have a great passion for eloquence, the practice of which, through various competitions where I have won numerous prizes, has undoubtedly enabled me to blossom fully in the art of speaking, but above all in the transmission of this exceptional subject that is public speaking!

About the lesson

We'll work together to determine what you want to learn or what you need to improve, and we'll study your working method to make it as effective as possible.
Patient and gentle, I can vary the exercises to help you overcome any difficulties you may have in the subject, adapting as best I can to your personality!
At the start of each session, we'll do a little "recap" of the time that's gone by: have you benefited from the previous lesson? Did you encounter any particular difficulties? What would you like to learn today? Or: do you have a particular deadline you'd like us to study together?

My prices are calculated based on the preparation time each class requires and the time I will take after our meeting to send you feedback.
Indeed, our lessons will be carefully custom-made to adapt to your goals, personality, and progress. After each class, I will email you a brief recap of what we did and exercises to keep up the progress: this allows you to focus on talking and learning during class while I take notes for you!
This price also includes my full availability via text messages and voice notes between classes: my students can ask me any questions about exercises, grammar, or pronunciation (voice notes are very useful!)...
