About Vladimir

My highest degree is PhD in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics from the Florida State University. Although the main subjects of my education were Hydrodynamics and Sea Physics, I took many courses in Mathematics mainly from Rostov State University - Mathematical Analysis, High Algebra and Geometry, Theory of Complex Variable Functions, Differential Equations, etc. So, I have strong background skills in Mathematics from both education in my country and my research practice in Tallahassee. During my work at FSU, I helped students a lot with preparation to the exams. Then I tutored high school students in South Florida (Deerfield Beach area), their grades significantly increased with my help.

After trying different tutor options (like Sylvan) for my daughter I was frustrated with the high fee and inconvenience of having taking my daughter to classes that didn’t help her. About the lesson

I am a very kind and patient person and try to explain carefully everything the students ask me. My schedule is flexible, and I can help students, if in need, even if the scheduled time of my tutoring goes over. I always enjoy when a student appreciates my patience and confidence. I try at first to find the main thing the student should understand to better learn the entire subject of the work he/she is doing at this moment. Usually I start the session from helping with understanding the subjects of last lessons but we can go through some preceding lessons if we both agree that this is necessary (maybe even for free).
