About Catherine
I'm an MA English graduate from Fergusson College, Pune. I have a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam. I also completed the Cambridge CELTA from Oxford TEFL, Prague. On the professional front, I worked as an Assistant Professor of English at the SNDT Women's college from July 2017 to April 2018. I also taught adult learners at Oxford TEFL, Prague, during my CELTA course (as part of the course) and for a week after the course, from October 2018 to November 2018.

I consider teaching to be a noble and rewarding profession, and I enjoy being a teacher. I believe that teaching becomes maximum effective when the subject is dealt with passion and dedication. I use the inductive approach, an approach which consists of giving examples first and then introducing the concepts to teach as it is known for providing better learning outcomes. I also make sure that my classes are learner-centric.
