About Simona
Hi, my name is Simona and I am currently a student in University College Dublin studying English, History, and Italian. I have always had a strong love for languages, literature, and storytelling, which led me to achieve a H1 in Leaving Cert English.
I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence and reach their full potential, especially in subjects that can feel overwhelming like English. Having recently completed the Leaving Cert myself, I understand the pressure students face and the most effective study techniques for success.
My background in English allows me to explain complex texts in a simple and clear way, while my studies in History and Italian have strengthened my essay writing, critical thinking, and language skills. I aim to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step.
I genuinely enjoy teaching and seeing students progress, and I tailor every lesson to suit individual learning styles and goals.
