About Georgia
I'm Georgia, and I've just graduated from Newcastle University after three years studying History. I already miss the subject and I'd love to share my passion with other students.
I struggled with exams when I was at school, I much preferred coursework, and it wasn't until Uni that it finally clicked. I hope to help out students who may be feeling the same as I did, and I want to reassure you that there are ways that you can learn effectively, you may just not have found them yet!
In my spare time I love going to the theatre or participating 'behind the scenes' - I even wrote my dissertation on theatre history!

No two students are the same, the conventional education system doesn't work for everyone and my lessons will reflect that. I'll try my best to cater to you and figure out how you learn best.
Prior to our first lesson I will invite you to send over a piece of your work for me to read through so I can find out your strengths and weaknesses in writing. During the lesson, we can talk through both what I have found and what you would like to work on. Together, we can come up with a plan.
Here are some examples of what our sessions could look like, but again, they can be super flexible depending on what works for you:
- We can focus on one key aspect each time (e.g. essay writing, revision techniques, or understanding content).
- We can work through the course content gradually, focusing on certain areas more than others if you require.
- If you have one specific area you're struggling with, like essay structure, our time together can focus entirely on that.
An average lesson will last an hour, but I can offer shorter or longer sessions if you'd prefer. I will also be available outside of sessions to answer any queries, especially during exam season!
I have recently graduated from Newcastle University and achieved First Class Honours in History. I'm happy to help with GCSE, A-Level students and younger. I can help out with History, Psychology and Drama/Theatre Studies.
