About Emma
I am from Northern Ireland but have been studying French in Paris for three years. I am set to graduate university in July with a 2.1 in French studies, and achieved an A in my French A-level. I have experience in tutoring French students up to age 16 in order to improve their English skills, and so this experience will be able to be transferred to tutoring French.

I believe that learning a language should be based on everyday situations and immersing yourself in the language, and so in order to teach French I believe that the most effective method is speaking, reading, writing and listening to the language as much as possible. I base my classes on what students are interested in, or what they struggle with the most, and then build around this. I think the most important thing is that it does not feel like a chore, but rather something that you want to do and that will ultimately benefit you in the future!
