About Gerry

ABOUT ME I've been working as a freelance film producer and media professional since 2010, producing work for a range of different markets. In that time I've mentored a number of people and been mentored myself - now I'm keen to pass on my knowledge to others. I hold a full, enhanced DBS certificate. MY EXPERIENCE I've lectured at a number of colleges and schools, as well as having delivered workshops and seminars for small (and larger) audiences. MY TUTORING STYLE I can support individuals on a one-to-one basis using targeted, task-oriented learning practices, or through a more flexible approach; whatever works for you. I believe in the importance of holistic learning, so I'll try wherever possible to provide links to complementary disciplines. More than anything, I believe that the best learning environment is a relaxed, focused and trusting one. I want my tutees to be comfortable at all times and I'll spend time making sure you and I get that balance right before we begin. Looking forward to hearing from you!
