About Kavya
I am a FIDE-rated chess player with over 10 years of competitive playing experience. Throughout my chess journey, I have participated in numerous FIDE-rated international tournaments, winning several prizes and accolades. I have achieved first place at the state level and have had the honor of representing my state at national-level competitions.
Beyond playing, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my love for chess with others. I have conducted chess classes and workshops for over 100 students, helping young players develop strong fundamentals, improve their tactical and strategic understanding, and build confidence in competitive play.
My teaching approach focuses on making chess engaging, structured, and accessible for every student. Whether you are a complete beginner, a school player, or someone looking to improve your rating, I tailor lessons to your individual goals and learning style.
I believe chess is not just a game but a powerful tool for developing concentration, logical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills that benefit students both on and off the board.
