About Agil

Hello, I'm Agil Pirverdiyev, a FIDE Master and FIDE-certified coach from Baku, Azerbaijan, with 15 years of teaching experience and more than 100 students. I am rated 2508 rapid and 2411 classical. In 2011 I won the Under 16 World Championship, I was Under 14 European Champion, and I have a team silver medal from the Chess Olympiad. I hold FIDE Coach and Arbiter titles, and my results include victories in the Italian, Swiss, French and Spanish Opens. Lessons are one to one, in English, and built around the games you actually play.

About the lesson

Time is precious. In my lessons, we pinpoint your weaknesses and expertly address them until you master them like a Grandmaster. We delve into top-level openings, game analyses, and advanced midgame and endgame techniques, ensuring your fluency and enjoyment in learning effortlessly. All levels are welcome to join my lessons and embark on a transformative chess journey.

Packages: 5 lessons, or 10 lessons with one lesson free - you pay for nine, we play ten. The first lesson is free, so you can see how I work before committing to anything.

1) l started practicing chess when I was 5 years old because my parents introduced me to the game. They noticed my interest in strategy and logic, and thought chess would be a great way to nurture those skills. Over time, my passion for the game grew as I enjoyed the mental challenges and competitive aspects of chess.
