About Dasvishn
Dust rises from the floorboards of a rural hall as the bow hits the strings. My 13 years of playing bluegrass and old-time festivals across the American South inform every note I play. Self-taught roots guide my perspective on music theory and tone production. Hundreds of learners have joined me in this pursuit over the years.
Tuning by ear remains the bedrock of my approach. Mastery of posture and hold comes through consistent practice. You might consider dropping by to talk fiddle sometime.

Starting with a simple melody is often the hardest way to learn. A diagnostic assessment happens before we set any practice plan for absolute beginners or grade exam candidates. Sight reading, shifting positions, and double stops follow in time.
Scales and arpeggios sharpen the left hand agility. It is a process. Ear training provides the roadmap for your journey. Please reach out if you feel like picking up the fiddle.
