About Hasmik

I am a linguist who masters English, Russian and Armenian and practices teaching for more than 7 years. I enjoy adult education and believe in the importance of learning languages. With me, students gain confidence speaking and feel part of the culture through language acquisition.

About the lesson

I use a mixture of traditional and non-formal education tools, ensuring that students never get bored and feel open to try and improve. Discussions, quizzes, movie screenings, debates are also part of the classes which enable students to speak and practice with no fear of making mistakes. Grammar has a special focus during any class but it's not the predominant part of the lesson.

Perfect! It was an amazing experience. Hasmik was so wonderful. She taught me the technical aspects of the language but she also spent a lot of time helping me with realistic conversation skills I was able to use with people every day. I would highly recommend her. Amazing experience and genuine, excellent teacher!

Perfect! I had enrolled myself with Hasmik to learn Russian. Her methods and assignments have helped me learn the language faster. She does not restrict grammer or vocab to a particular level rather is a mixture of different levels and would making learning fun and more practical. She also adjusts the pace of teaching according to the learning pace of the Student ( which helped me a lot as I am slow learner). Her assignments also helped me understand grammer better. Every minute is worth the penny paid.
Highly recommended to anyone learning Russian.
