About Juju

I am a 29-year-old French Fashion Designer living in Lisbon, where I am currently building my Fashion brand. I have already organised two shows for the NFC conference and Moga Festival. In the past, I have studied Politics and Culture at UCL and then went on to study a Fine Art Foundation in Paris, l'Atelier de Sèvres, which led me to then study Fashion Design Womenswear in both the Royal Academy of Antwerp, and then Central Saint Martins, where I obtained my degree in Womenswear with First Class honours, my six looks on the l'Oreal Catwalk, and a mention as 1/8 student to remember in the London Evening Standard. I have extensive experience in both writing, researching and making for any kind of visual arts. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring my students to find their creative voice, their medium, and share their beautiful voice & talent with the world. I regularly assist university applicants in building and editing their portfolios, providing them with valuable advice, and I have had a high success rate in helping them achieve their goals.

About the lesson

Hello! I am Juju, Fine Artist and Creative Director. I have studied at the world’s top art universities, including UCL, Paris Atelier de Sèvres, Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art Fashion, and Central Saint Martins (CSM) in Fashion Design Womenswear. I have a deep understanding of what art & design universities expect in an academic-level portfolio, and what mesmerises the application jury. In addition, I have worked in Fashion, Fine Arts, Cinema, and Web3 industries, giving me an excellent eye for spotting talent and helping it flourish, as I have done with my Artist Collective in the past. My teaching method is engaging, reflective, and tailored to each student’s unique needs and chosen medium of expression. I inspire students to think outside the box and push boundaries—encouraging them to experiment with new mediums and explore deeply personal themes and experiences in their work. I guide students in discovering their inner voice, helping them identify the subjects they are passionate about researching and addressing, and ultimately, helping them create an original portfolio that meets academic standards. I have successfully helped more than 5 students gain acceptance to internationally renowned art colleges, including Central Saint Martins. My classes cater to all ages and levels. While I specialise in Fashion and Fine Art, I have also successfully tutored students applying for Architecture and Graphic Design.
