About Grace
I am an English tutor with 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and Linguistics. I have taught approximately 200 students including professionals, students, and immigrants developing English for career, academic, and daily communication purposes. My lessons focus on spoken fluency, grammar, vocabulary development, business communication, accent clarity, and examination preparation. My approach is warm, practical, and always adapted to each student's specific English goals, background, and learning pace. I use interactive dialogue practice, role-play scenarios, and authentic communication tasks to make lessons immediately useful and engaging. I have helped students prepare for job interviews, university applications, professional presentations, and everyday social communication. I am equally effective working with beginners building basic communication skills and advanced learners refining professional English ability. My English lessons are structured around developing real communication skills in a practical and enjoyable way. Every session opens with a warm-up conversation exercise to build speaking confidence while revealing specific areas to address during the lesson. Grammar is always taught in context through meaningful real-world sentences and dialogues so students understand rules as practical tools for communication. Pronunciation and intonation work is integrated throughout every lesson using phonemic awareness exercises and comparison with natural English audio. IELTS and TOEFL candidates receive comprehensive skills development across all four tested areas with regular timed practice and detailed feedback on examination technique. Business English students develop professional email writing, report structure, meeting participation language, and vocabulary relevant to their specific field and career level. I use role-play extensively to practise real-life conversations students encounter daily in their professional and personal lives. Listening comprehension tasks use authentic materials including podcasts, interviews, and news broadcasts to build genuine understanding of natural English. Vocabulary is developed systematically through thematic learning and regular review exercises between lessons. My goal is for every student to communicate in English with real confidence, accuracy, and natural ease.
