About Emmanuel
My name is Emmanuel, and I’ve always had a genuine passion for teaching and helping others grow. From a young age, I’ve enjoyed sharing knowledge and seeing that moment when something finally “clicks” for a student. For me, teaching is more than explaining a subject—it’s about helping young people become more confident, capable, and curious learners.
Outside teaching, I’m a pianist, a passionate football fan, a Liverpool supporter, and someone who enjoys games and activities that challenge my thinking. I also have a strong interest in design and creativity.
I bring that same curiosity, patience, and enthusiasm into my lessons. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, learning from them, and ultimately becoming better than when they started.

I’m a dedicated SAT tutor with several years of focused SAT study and preparation, and experience teaching students from different backgrounds. I have worked with tens of students through Schoolhouse.world, helping learners build their confidence, strengthen their understanding, and improve their SAT performance, with students achieving average score improvements of approximately 200–250 points.
My approach is highly personalized. I first identify a student’s current level, strengths, weaknesses, target score, and test date, then structure lessons around the areas that will make the greatest difference. Rather than simply teaching formulas or asking students to memorize strategies, I focus on helping them understand why a method works and when to apply it.
For Math, I emphasize conceptual understanding, efficient problem-solving techniques, accuracy, and learning how to recognize patterns in SAT questions. For Reading & Writing, I focus on comprehension, grammar and language conventions, evidence-based reasoning, vocabulary in context, and strategies for working efficiently under time pressure.
Lessons are interactive and practice-driven. I use Zoom, Google Meet, Miro, and digital whiteboards to explain concepts, work through questions with students, and give them opportunities to solve problems independently. I also use targeted practice and regular progress checks to identify weaknesses and adjust the study plan as the student develops.
A typical lesson lasts 2–3 hours, depending on the student's needs and stage of preparation. I aim to make each session productive without simply overwhelming the student with information.
My lessons are primarily designed for high school students preparing for the Digital SAT, whether they are taking the exam for the first time or looking to improve an existing score. I welcome students at different ability levels, from those who are just beginning their preparation to those aiming for highly competitive scores.
My goal is not simply to help a student get through the SAT. I want them to become a more confident, strategic, and independent test-taker while giving them the preparation they need to pursue their university goals.
