About Jovana
I began my journey as a singer at age 14 when I was accepted into a performing arts program from which I graduated, after which I continued on to major in Voice for both my Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees. I have performed in both opera and musical theater, as a soloist, have sang for many choirs with which I have toured and performed, and have been teaching successfully for the past 10 years. Teaching is one of the greatest joys in my life. I love working with each of my students and helping them grow and successfully reach their goals.

I’ve been a private voice teacher for over ten years successfully helping students reach their goals!
Many of my students have performed in main and leading roles in their local musical productions, performed in talent shows, recitals, and have gone to participate in preprofessional and competitive programs.
I focus on assessing the singer’s strengths and weaknesses and developing a strategy to teach the necessary vocal technique.
I will help choose the best possible repertoire and audition material appropriate for each individual singer that highlights his/her talents as well as choose rep to help develop vocal skills.
I will coach you with your acting and developing a method for getting into character, digging into the story of the piece and connecting with the material to give the best performance possible.
I have several years of performance experience as well as my own education which I freely share about to help each person navigate his or her own career goals.
