About Ninette Amarachi
I am a 29 year old PhD student, writer and researcher. Aside from my university-level academic teaching experience, I enjoy travelling and learning new languages. I spent a year living and working in Spain as an English Language Assistant in sunny Valencia, where I taught primary school students from ages 6-12. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Spain, as it was formative for my teaching experience, allowing me to develop patience and tailored, inclusive, and interactive teaching approaches.

I use participatory teaching approaches, including student-directed learning.
I encourage students to take charge of their learning, remain curious and ask questions. I am a patient teacher by nature who also uses set learning objectives according to the progression needs of students such as excelling at exams and other forms of assessments. I am also motivated to help students increase their confidence in their chosen subject area.
I also incorporate diverse and inclusive digital learning tools, including Mentimeter, Polls, Quizlet and Microsoft 365 Education and Microsoft PowerPoint to stimulate students and keep them engaged.
