About Dr Nazam

I am an experienced Science educator and Lead Teacher working in the UAE, with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Teaching has given me the opportunity to work with students of different abilities, backgrounds and learning needs, and I strongly believe that every student can succeed when concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them.

What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing a student move from “I don’t understand this” to being able to explain and apply the concept confidently. I believe a good teacher should not simply provide answers, but should develop curiosity, confidence and independent thinking.

Alongside teaching, my professional experience includes science leadership, curriculum planning, assessment, student progress analysis and supporting effective teaching and learning. I bring the same professionalism and commitment to my private lessons that I bring to my classroom.

I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing genuine confidence in Science.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making Science simple, engaging and concept-based rather than relying on memorization. I use visual explanations, real-life examples, questioning, guided practice, exam-style questions and regular checks for understanding. I identify each student’s misconceptions and learning gaps and adapt my teaching accordingly.

A typical lesson is 60 minutes, including concept explanation, interactive questioning, guided practice, independent application and a short assessment or recap at the end.

I am an experienced Science Lead Teacher in the UAE with a Master’s in Educational Leadership and extensive experience in curriculum planning, assessment and teaching students with different learning needs.

I teach Science, Biology, Chemistry and Health Science, primarily for Grades 6–12. Lessons can support students who are struggling with fundamentals, preparing for assessments, or aiming to improve their overall academic performance.

My aim is not simply to help students find the correct answer, but to help them understand why it is correct, explain their reasoning confidently and eventually become independent learners.
