About Katrina
Katrina is an award-winning fine artist. She has received numerous awards for her fine art, and has been published in five art books. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College, in Santa Rosa California, with emphasis on fine art, graphic art, web design, and illustration. She has been active in several art organizations, including the Monday Morning Plein Air Painter's, Watercolor Artist of Sonoma County, Windsor Arts Council, Artist Roundtable, and was the president of the Art Workshop of Western Sonoma County for four years while in California. Since moving back to her hometown in Colorado in 2013, she has taught art classes at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, Pueblo Community College and the Pendarvis Gallery, along with private lessons.

Working in watercolor is so joyful. I get lost in moving pigment around in water, saturating, blending and glazing. The finished piece inspires a feeling of amazement at what just occurred. I also paint in pastel, oil and acrylic, am a fine art instructor and demonstrator as well as a web and graphic designer.
