About Robert
What gives me the most excitement with coaching/ training when a player learns a concept and can apply the learning in a game and make a contribution to the team.
1 on 1 training having the ability to turn each player into a coach on the court where they know everything I know and become a confident leader. Helping a player love and embrace the game so they realize it was the best decision they ever made. I have been able to coach volleyball players in Canada,NewZealand in Europe and of course the United States. I am certified through USA volleyball and a member of Junior Volleyball Coaches Association and The American Volleyball Coaches Association. At the end of the day players receive the proper training necessary to develop the necessary skills and competency necessary for a 21st century athlete.
I have been coaching volleyball since 1993 to the present.
I got into teaching because of what people did for me when I was in my athletic playing days. I then chose to be a physical education teacher that dovetailed into my starting a club volleyball program which then led to my coaching internationally to then move to New Zealand to create a school for athletes only grades 6-12. So I have to thank all the coaches and former players I competed with that inspired me to give back to make a significant difference in the life of future athletes wherever they maybe.
I am a physical education teacher, a former volleyball player ( ElCamino CC) Club volleyball Director and international volleyball Coach
I am certified through USA Volleyball and a member of JVA ( Junior Volleyball Association) and AVCA ( American Volleyball Coaches Association)

10-14 year olds is juniors

A recent event I'm fond of is the Phenom program connected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Its at this event freshman to seniors in Highschool have an opportunity through a clinician put on at the event to be looked at by Universities coaches from around the nation. The players are assessed of there existing volleyball skills and given a psychological test to measure where they stand in there development as a person. This event I highly recommend to all athletes I work with.

A package is a better rate in the long term and shorterm opposed to sporadic here or there private rates become higher.

the packet prices change The further out travel is required the more the cost per hour of training
