About Jennifer

Specializes in youth volleyball 12 and under and junior high and pre Club tryout training.

I started out coaching Sapphires, ages 6-16 for the YMCA, and had much success in staying in the top.

We continued our Sapphire team, to play in competitive league at Ace Volleyball. Sapphires have had great success in building a strong foundation at this level. We even added a boys 12U team.

Many of the Sapphires we coach have continued on as club volleyball players for local and top travel teams.

I keep the drills fun, I coach with the heart of a player and enjoying growing the game! I love the shocked faces from the student when they achieve a goal. It is priceless to share that pride and achievement with my students!

My goal is to grow the game by growing your player to love this sport.

I enjoy training young athletes and helping them to grow not only in skill, but also in character, so when other coaches ask me, I want to share that is a coachable, all around athlete.

About the lesson

Before starting lessons, I like to do an evaluation to make sure I am a good fit for the students. I network with other coaches as well. This is great for the students who are looking for specialization in a skill.

Rec, league, and club athletes.

Beginner students ages 6-junior high

My advice would be to be honest with your skill level to insure you are matched up with a coach that can meet your needs.

My 7 year old player made a overhand serve on the last game of the session!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want to achieve? Make a list and rate them highest to lowest of importance.

What is your coaching philosophy?

What type of athlete do you specialize in working with? Beginner, intermediate, advanced, pro

Our my goals realistic in the time and money, I am willing to invest in?
