About Ragga
I've been teaching violin and viola in New York City and White Plains for the past 20 years. I focus on developing technical fundamentals while instilling a love and appreciation of music. I treat each student as an individual and teach them how to practice in clear steps. Ultimately, my hope for each student is to develop confidence and an appreciation for the art of music.
I teach all ages, from beginners on up to adult amateurs. I am Suzuki certified from the School for Strings in Manhattan, and was the Suzuki Coordinator at the Westchester Music Conservatory for over 10 years. At this time, I am only offering zoom lessons.
My rates are:
$50 for 30 minutes
$75 for 45 minutes
$100 for hour
A pack of 10 lessons- $900
Trial lessons are free.
I will consider a sliding scale during this Covid 19 period. Please inquire.
I was trained at the Manhattan School of Music and am a member of the American Ballet Theater orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, and have recorded numerous feature film scores as well as subbing on broadway shows such as the Lion King, Wicked and My Fair Lady.
During this time of COVID-19, I find it crucial that students are engaged in fun and directed learning.
