About Jon
I teach violin in New York for 10 years. I teach anyone all ages 3 and up in the levels from basic to advanced.
I am very patience. I understand that how difficult to start a new things. I have a daughter, so I know how to teach to kids. Let's try my lesson!
My friend asked me to teach her child first.
I started violin age 6, and I was apprenticed to Mr. Haruo Katayama (used to be a principal 2nd violin in the New philharmonic Orchestra, and a teacher of the Musashino Music College) in String major under Shobi College of Music .

Asking what he/she know about violins and music, background, and experience, and then decide the lesson plans to customise for each.
Mostly kids. high school student. sometimes adults.
beginner(from 0 level) to some experienced adults.
Due to Covid-19 situation, I have to be careful to travel to student's place, so I can do only online teaching now.
I held an online violin recital by my stuents. It was awesome.
