About Desiree
I have taught instrumental music to children for over 20 years and still love sharing this wonderful language.
As an independant violinist/violist, I was playing in the Santa Monica College Orchestra and met the director of Kadima Conservatory who offered me my first teaching position.
I have been a teacher for Children's Music Workshop for 20 years and Kadima Conservatory of Music for 23 years as instrumental music teacher, conductor and orchestral coach.

All students are different and require individual process.
I specialize in young elementary age students.
I teach at 7( out of 20) schools around Los Angeles for Childrens Music Workshop and the 'honor' students from all the schools perform at UCLA;Schoenberg Hall for a televised orchestra concert in May each year. It is a wonderful event and culmination of all the hard work and practice.
