I use a proprietary method to help you get where you're wanting to go on your musical journey - whether that's classical, bluegrass, country, pop, jazz or something else, I love hearing your own awesomeness grow more and more through your music.
During your first lesson, we'll get to know each other, talk about where you want to go and start unlocking new growth from day 1.
I've played violin for 20+ years, am proficient on mandolin, and enjoy all string instruments. I've played in orchestras, quartets, bands and currently play fiddle in the band "Old Coyote"

I love making complicated things simple and watching light bulbs go off in students eyes. It's really fun to watch people learn and grow, try risky things and become better humans as a result of doing their best. I enjoy working with musicians of all skills and have a lot of fun helping make beautiful and fun music!
I've been asked to tutor and teach since I was in middle school/high school.
I've played violin since I was 11 in full orchestras, chamber orchestra, string quartets, folk bands, duets, trios and solo settings. I've taught in groups and one-on-one. I can help you improve bowing, fingering and posture. I can help you get more out of your instrument and if you havent played in a long time, I can help you get back up and running.

We'll have an intro session to make sure we are a good fit for each other. I'll ask you some questions about your challenges and what you want to get out of our time together. We'll play some music and get a baseline and I'll provide you with some actionable steps, and if we both feel good about it, we can book another session together.
All ages welcome
