About Darbi
Teaching beginning starting at age 3 through advanced. Teaching in the Cy-Fair school district for 7 years.
Middle and High school Solo and Ensemble & Region Music
Traditional and Suzuki trained
Teaching for over 25 years.
Through personal experience such as playing in symphonies and in college as well as learning through specific violin training how to teach people how to play the violin.
Univeristy of Puget Sound Bachelors Degree
Suzuki Training Books 1-7
Music Mind Games Unit 1 & 2
Clinician for school orchestras 8 years
Private teaching experience over 25 years.

About the lesson

During the Free initial consultation, student families will discuss their goals for lessons. We will also go over the studio policies and answer any questions. If students already play the violin, they will be evaluated. After the evaluation process, we will discuss how goals will be met through individual and needs of the family.
I have worked with children of all ages from as young as age 3 to adults. I enjoy teaching in schools as well as on line through zoom and private lessons in person. Each person has something special to give with music and anyone can learn.
Be patient in your search for a teacher locally or remotely. It's important to feel like you have a good fit with personality as well as being skillful with the insturment

I would ask, where do I get an instrument? What supplies to do I need? What will the cost be for lessons on a monthly basis? Am I willing to put in the time of practicing to get better?
