About Matous
As a member of one of the leading orchestras in the world I offer only the highest level of instruction. Having completed education at the most sought after schools in classical music industry I can offer proven violin teaching methods.
I enjoy student progress and teaching them skills that apply to life far beyond playing the violin.
I have been teaching since I graduated from my Masters degree. I moved to Chicago in 2016 to join the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and have maintained a private studio since then. I normally teach in person in Chicago however due to the COVID-19 pandemic I am teaching remotely.

First, I like to have a trial lesson to get to know each other and see if the fit is right. In the first lesson I try to assess the level of the student and recommend the appropriate action forward. After that we can discuss possible future lessons.
Students who have extablished basic skills and up. I work with both children and adult students.
