About Krista
I am an expert special educator in the school system that not only has spent the entire span of my professional teaching career working with students with disabilities, but works for my school district's special education department training special education teachers on teaching practices, instructional planning, pedagogy, behavioral management, etc.
I am incredibly passionate about students with disabilities and have dedicated my career to serving them and their teachers. I would love to help you student succeed, even in these times of great uncertainty in the educational arena. I am here to serve!
I hold a B.S.Ed in Early Childhood Education, an M.Ed in Special Education and have several areas of professional certification and endorsements, including early childhood education in all subjects, special education in all subjects and grade levels and in teacher leadership.
I have almost a decade of classroom teaching experience with students of multiple grade levels, ability levels and exceptionalities. I have also worked with students with disabilities digitally, providing instruction during the summer to increase retention.
