About Cheryl
I am currently a special education teacher. I believe all students can learn and it is the teacher or tutors responsibiltiy to think outside the box. I also believe it is important to learn a students learning style. I believe in explicit, modeling instruction and using various resources including music to learn. I believe it is important to not move on until a skill is achieved and the student feels confident. I pride myself on being there for my students/clients whenever needed.
I have a BA in Educational Studies and an M.Ed.
Being a special education teacher gives me the experience and knowledge of knowing how to specialize instruction, and teach on a students/clients understanding.
