About Sara

I have experience tutoring American students in Spanish and tutoring Spanish students in English. In the United States, I worked as a Spanish tutor during college and helped students understand grammar, practice speaking, study for tests, work through homework, and proofread writings for grammar and flow.

I studied abroad in Granada, Spain for one semester during college. During that time, I helped Spanish students practice speaking English, planned games and activities to complement their course work, and helped proofread their writings for grammar and flow.

I believe I have the experience to help you master your target language! Contact me today!

(concealed information)

I have always loved studying language; I studied Spanish in high school and college, studied French in college, and began teaching myself the basics of Arabic and ASL. All languages can be difficult and complicated sometimes, so I love helping others understand the grammar rules and language nuances that I have enjoyed studying for years.

I began tutoring Spanish in college. I was a Spanish and communication studies major and wanted to help fellow students understand the language.

- Worked as a Spanish language assistant in college

About the lesson

I like to start by getting a feel for the student's level of grammar, speech, and writing. I also like to ask the student what style of learner they are: visual, auditory, or haptic (hands-on). I strive to cater to their learning needs throughout their time with me!

I have worked with English-speaking American students in college who were learning Spanish. I have had a few regulars who met with me weekly.

I have also worked with students in Spain who were learning English. I met with two different classes weekly (one beginning-level class, one advanced).

Look for someone who wants to know your learning style. Learning a language is a big commitment, so make sure to find someone who understands how you learn best.
