About Rosie
I am a dually certified General/Special Education teacher. I am certified for grades 1-6. I'm a Spanish Zone teacher at a dual language school. I can offer tutoring in both English and Spanish.
I love seeing the lightbulb going off in students' heads when they finally "get" a concept. The confidence and happiness in their faces makes it all worth it.
I started teaching Cake Decorating at a crafts store, then I became a substitute teacher in NYC. I worked as an Educational Assistant while pursuing my dual Masters in General/Special Education at Fordham University.
I am a dual certified General/Special Education teacher. I am also fully bilingual (Spanish/English). I am pursuing my Bilingual Extension certificate. I teach First grade (Spanish Zone) at a Dual Language school in Westchester County.

Make sure the tutor cares about your likes and dislikes, and also how you learn best.
My students completed a Memory Book, and one of my students kept working on his drawing of me. He said he had to draw a big smile on my face, because that's how he remembers me.
