About Clau

I'm a very organized and focused teacher when I teach any subject such as Spanish. Conversational Spanish is a very important skill to have since people of Spanish origin relate to each other through conversations especially in international sales at work or informally to get to know someone like a neighbor. Theory is very important but if you don't know how to use it in an informal and formal way, there is no point of knowing it. I'm a practical, life application teacher, so you can use your knowledge practicing in real life.

I love teaching especially when I'm tutoring especific subjects to others because I focus on the person advancement. I'm a loving caring person and create structure in somebody's life to be successful at their subject of interest since I have a passion to help others.

I have tutoring experience with adults teaching them Microsoft computer programs to find a job among many subjects, senior citizens with electronic devices, Spanish everyday conversations, Children at Sunday School. I have more than 10 years working with children at different ages.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Communication & Organizational Leadership and an Associate Degree in International Business which to this day I practice in my field of work. I also have a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a Full Service, FL Cosmetology License.

I discovered my heart for teaching during my sales administration career and dealing with people of many different cultures. I also love to invest in the children of tomorrow.

About the lesson

I will ask questions to see the degree of knowledge the student has, and I would test it if necessary.

* Children 3-10 years old

* Adults looking to find a job or wanting to learn a new skill or language such as Spanish since I'm a bilingual native speaker, reader and writer.

* Senior Citizens up to 95 years-old that still have the capacity to learn.

Most importantly, I would advise someone to find a good person at heart who loves teaching, and it is not doing it just for the money.

I'm always amazed how the adults and children respond to the teachings on a everyday lesson. It is rewarding to hear their comments of appreciation. For example, the children make custom cards for me with caring messages and specifically pray for me and my well being.
