About Leidy
Hello there,
I am a passionate Spanish teacher from Colombia. I have been doing it for about three years now and I love it. Teaching my mother tongue is such an amazing experience, I like to keep in mind what my students like the most so I can design the correct lesson plan. I got my bachelors degree in July 2019, since I was a student I was involved in teaching as a volunteer in a Catholic program. I like to have a good communication with my students and make them feel comfortable during my lessons.
I started teaching as a volunteer, I got lots of experience doing that. I went to different schools and taught some classes to students from different ages.
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish teaching in Colombia. I have worked as a teacher as well.

I start by making questions about how the student learns, that helps me to find out the best way to design activities for teaching specific topics.
I have worked with students from five to tweenty years old.
I would recommend to look for a teacher who has a specific teaching style that represents the student´s learning process. When a student feels comfortable with what a teacher is doing is when the learning process acts the better.
Due to the pandemic, I haven't had the chance to participate in any event so far.

Details
I like to start by giving a free lesson so the student can ask as many questions as he or she wants and I ask questions as well. By questions I mean learning style, favorite activities, language level, among others. Then, I design the first lesson plan, which has a cost of 20 dollars. After the lesson the student decides if he or she likes it, if so, we can continue with the regular price which is 28 dollars the hour.
